Szerintem

Magánélete szintén a bulvársajtó kedvelt témája.

Brad Pitt

An actor and producer known as much for his versatility as he is for his handsome face, Golden Globe-winning actor Brad Pitt's most widely recognized role may be Tyler Durden in _Fight Club (1999)_ (qv). But his portrayals of Billy Beane in _Moneyball (2011)_ (qv), and Rusty Ryan in the remake of _Ocean's Eleven (2001)_ (qv) and its sequels, also loom large in his filmography. Pitt was born William Bradley Pitt on December 18th, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and was raised in Springfield, Missouri. He is the son of Jane Etta (Hillhouse), a school counselor, and William Alvin Pitt, a truck company manager. He has a younger brother, Douglas (Doug) Pitt, and a younger sister, Julie Neal Pitt. At Kickapoo High School, Pitt was involved in sports, debating, student government and school musicals. Pitt attended the University of Missouri, where he majored in journalism with a focus on advertising. He occasionally acted in fraternity shows. He left college two credits short of graduating to move to California. Before he became successful at acting, Pitt supported himself by driving strippers in limos, moving refrigerators and dressing as a giant chicken while working for "el Pollo Loco". Pitt's earliest credited roles were in television, starting on the daytime soap opera _"Another World" (1964)_ (qv) before appearing in the recurring role of Randy on the legendary prime time soap opera _"Dallas" (1978)_ (qv). Following a string of guest appearances on various television series through the 1980s, Pitt gained widespread attention with a small part in _Thelma & Louise (1991)_ (qv), in which he played a sexy criminal who romanced and conned 'Geena Davis' (qv). This lead to starring roles in badly received films such as _Johnny Suede (1991)_ (qv) and _Cool World (1992)_ (qv). But Pitt's career hit an upswing with his casting in _A River Runs Through It (1992)_ (qv), which cemented his status as an multi-layered actor as opposed to just a pretty face. Pitt's subsequent projects were as quirky and varied in tone as his performances, ranging from his unforgettably comic cameo as stoner roommate Floyd in _True Romance (1993)_ (qv) to romantic roles in such visually lavish films as _Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994)_ (qv) and _Legends of the Fall (1994)_ (qv), to an emotionally tortured detective in the horror-thriller _Se7en (1995)_ (qv). His portrayal of frenetic oddball Jeffrey Goines in _Twelve Monkeys (1995)_ (qv) won him a Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role. Pitt's portrayal of Achilles in the big-budget period drama _Troy (2004)_ (qv) helped establish his appeal as action star and was closely followed by a co-starring role in the stylish spy-versus-spy flick _Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)_ (qv). It was on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith that Pitt, who married 'Jennifer Aniston' (qv) in a highly publicized ceremony in 2000, met his current partner 'Angelina Jolie' (qv). Pitt left Aniston for Jolie in 2005, a break-up that continues to fuel tabloid stories years after its occurrence. He continues to wildly vary his film choices, appearing in everything from high-concept popcorn flicks such as _Megamind (2010)_ (qv) to adventurous critic-bait like _Inglourious Basterds (2009)_ (qv) and _The Tree of Life (2011)_ (qv). He has received two Best Actor Oscar nominations, for _The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)_ (qv) and _Moneyball (2011)_ (qv). In 2014, he starred in the war film _Fury (2014)_ (qv), opposite 'Shia LaBeouf' (qv), 'Logan Lerman' (qv), 'Jon Bernthal' (qv), and 'Michael Peńa' (qv). Pitt and Jolie have six children, including two sons and a daughter who were adopted.

Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2, 1964) is an American actress and author. After making her stage debut as Rita in a Broadway production of Craig Lucas' Prelude to a Kiss in 1990 (for which she received a Tony Award nomination), Parker came to prominence for film roles in Grand Canyon (1991), Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), The Client (1994), Bullets over Broadway (1994), Boys on the Side (1995), The Portrait of a Lady (1996), and The Maker (1997). Among stage and independent film appearances thereafter, Parker received the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her portrayal of Catherine Llewellyn in David Auburn's Proof in 2001, among other accolades. Between 2001 and 2006, she recurred as Amy Gardner on the NBC television series The West Wing, for which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2002. After receiving both Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Harper Pitt on the HBO television miniseries Angels in America in 2003, Parker went on to enjoy large success as Nancy Botwin, the lead role on the Showtime television series Weeds, which ran from 2005 to 2012 and for which she received three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series between 2007 and 2009 and received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy in 2006. Her more recent film appearances have included roles in The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008), Red (2010), R.I.P.D. (2013) and Red 2 (2013), as well as continued stage and television appearances. Since 2007, Parker has contributed articles for Esquire magazine and later published her memoir, Dear Mr. You, in 2015. In 2017, she starred as Roma Guy on the ABC television miniseries When We Rise.

Mary-Louise Parker

Southern-bred Mary-Louise Parker, from Fort Jackson, South Carolina, was born on August 2, 1964, the youngest of the family's brood. Her parents were Caroline Louise (Morell) and John Morgan Parker, a judge who served in the U.S. army. She has Swedish (from her maternal grandfather), English, Scottish, Scotch-Irish, German, and Dutch ancestry. Parker showed potential in her teens and majored in acting in her college years, graduating from the North Carolina School of the Arts. She decided to test the waters in New York, and after work on the off-Broadway stage in the late 1980s, made her Broadway debut with "Prelude to a Kiss" in 1990, where she won the Theatre World Award, the Clarence Derwent Award and a Tony nomination. Films and TV quickly followed. She provided both poignant and amusing moments as the token femme friend to a group of gay men in the AIDS drama _Longtime Companion (1989)_ (qv), but really caught fire with her feisty, standout performance in _Fried Green Tomatoes (1991)_ (qv), holding her own against such female powerhouses as 'Jessica Tandy' (qv), 'Kathy Bates (I)' (qv) and 'Mary Stuart Masterson' (qv). Dubbed by some as the "long-suffering girl next door", she played such noble miserables and cast-asides in _Grand Canyon (1991)_ (qv), _Naked in New York (1993)_ (qv), _Bullets Over Broadway (1994)_ (qv), _Boys on the Side (1995)_ (qv), in which she was the AIDS victim this time, and _Let the Devil Wear Black (1999)_ (qv). Preferring quality over quantity, she perfected her craft with offbeat roles in independent features and did not abandon her theater roots. She copped a slew of acting prizes for her stage work in "How I Learned to Drive" (1996) and, most notably, "Proof" in 2000, wherein she won nearly every award there is to attain, including the prestigious Tony. Her marquee name still does not command what it should, but a picture or production with Mary-Louise Parker in it usually guarantees a strong critical reception. Unmarried, she did enter into a longtime companionship with actor 'Billy Crudup' (qv) after the twosome appeared opposite each other in the 1996 play "Bus Stop". They went their separate ways in 2003.

A San Franciscó-i előadóművészeti középiskolába járt. Első komolyabb szerepét Francis Ford Coppola 1988-as Clownhouse című tévéfilmjében kapta.

Sam Rockwell

Sam Rockwell was born on November 5, 1968, in San Mateo, California, the child of two actors, 'Pete Rockwell' (qv) and Penny Hess. The family moved to New York when he was two years old, living first in the Bronx and later in Manhattan. When Sam was five years old, his parents split up, at which point he and his father moved to San Francisco, where he subsequently grew up, while summers and other times were spent with his mother in New York. He made his acting debut when he was ten years old, alongside his mother, and later attended J Eugene McAteer High School in a program called SOTA. While still in high school, he got his first big break when he appeared in the independent film _Clownhouse (1989)_ (qv). The plot revolved around three escaped mental patients who dressed up as clowns and terrorized three brothers home alone--Sam played the eldest of the brothers. His next big break was supposed to have come when he was slated to star in a short-lived NBC TV-series called _"Dream Street" (1989)_ (qv), but he was soon fired. After graduating from high school, Sam returned to New York for good and for two years he had private training at the 'William Esper' (qv) Acting Studio. During this period he appeared in a variety of roles, such as the _"ABC Afterschool Specials" (1972)_ (qv): Over the Limit (1990) (TV) and HBO's _"Lifestories: Families in Crisis" (1992)_ (qv): Dead Drunk: The Kevin Tunell Story (Season 1 Episode 7: 15 March 1993); the head thug in _Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)_ (qv); and a guest-star turn in an Emmy-winning episode of _"Law & Order" (1990)_ (qv), while working a string of regular day jobs and performing in plays. In 1994, a Miller Ice beer commercial finally enabled him to quit his other jobs to concentrate on his acting career, which culminated in him having five movies out by 1996: _Basquiat (1996)_ (qv); _The Search for One-eye Jimmy (1994)_ (qv); _Glory Daze (1995)_ (qv); _Mercy (1995)_ (qv); and _Box of Moon Light (1996)_ (qv). It was the latter film that would prove to be his real break-out in the industry. In 'Tom DiCillo' (qv)'s film, he found himself playing an eccentric named the Kid, a man-child living in a half-built mobile home in the middle of nowhere with a penchant for dressing like Davy Crockett, who manages to bring some much-needed chaos into the life of an electrical engineer played by 'John Turturro' (qv). The movie was not a box-office success, but it managed to generate a lot of critical acclaim for itself and Sam. In 1997 he found himself the star of another critically lauded film, _Lawn Dogs (1997)_ (qv). Once again he portrayed a societal outcast as Trent, a working-class man living in a trailer, earning a living mowing lawns inside a wealthy, gated Kentucky community. Soon Trent finds himself befriended by 10-year-old Devon ('Mischa Barton' (qv)), and the movie deals with the difficulties in their friendship and the outside world. He also gave strong performances in the quirky independent comedy _Safe Men (1998)_ (qv), in which he plays one half of a pretty awful singing duo (the other half being played by 'Steve Zahn' (qv)) that gets mistaken for two safe-crackers by Jewish gangsters; and the offbeat hit-man trainee in _Jerry and Tom (1998)_ (qv) against 'Joe Mantegna' (qv). After a few smaller appearances in films such as 'Woody Allen' (qv)'s _Celebrity (1998)_ (qv) and the 1999 version of _A Midsummer Night's Dream (1999)_ (qv), in which he played Francis Flute, he had larger parts in two of the bigger hit movies to emerge in 1999: _The Green Mile (1999)_ (qv) and _Galaxy Quest (1999)_ (qv), wowing audiences and critics alike with his chameleon-like performances as a crazed killer in the former and a goofy actor in the latter. More recently, he appeared in another string of mainstream films, most notably as Eric Knox in _Charlie's Angels (2000)_ (qv) and as Zaphod Beeblebrox in _The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005)_ (qv), while continuing to perform in smaller independent movies. After more than ten years in the business, Sam has earned his success.
